Commercial Properties In Costa Rica
With the recent dramatic expansion of such seaside resort towns as Flamingo Beach and Tamarindo, the province of Guanacaste has a lot to offer businesses and real estate investors. Although the province is home to the nation's largest national park, the Parque Nacional de Santa Rosa, the municipalities are favorable toward new commerce, real estate, and business.
In Guanacaste, the towns of Huacas, Santa Cruz, and the capitol city of Liberia are ideal places to invest in Costa Rica commercial real estate. Huacas is considered the gateway to the northern Pacific Coast's thriving beach communities. Santa Cruz is situated only 45 minutes away from Flamingo Beach, Playa Brasilito, Playa Tamarindo, and only slightly farther from the Golfo de Papagayo. As the largest town in the coastal area, this where locals and new residents shop for furniture, home appliances, and other necessities not available in the beach towns. With the real estate market growing steadily, the demand for businesses that cater to tourists and residents is sure to increase in the coming years. Wise investors are already staking their claims in this untapped market.
Other areas experiencing rapid growth and international attention are surf spots in Puntarenas, like the little village of Pavones, the beach party mecca of Jaco Beach, and Playa Hermosa, which hosts a yearly international surfing championship. As demand for high-end housing and vacation rental properties grows in these areas, investors stand to make substantial gains. Also, the national parks surrounding the volcanoes of Irazú in San Jose province, Rincón de la Vieja and Miravalles in Guanacaste and Arenal in Alajuela see substantial eco-tourism activity, and although real estate development is not permitted within the parklands, opportunities exist to acquire Costa Rica land for sale outside the boundaries of the parks which could be used for a variety of service or tourism-based businesses.
